Lithium-Ion Battery Warranty – Pride Mobility

This section applies only to Pride mobility products equipped with lithium-ion battery technology.

The following is a summary of Pride’s Lithium-Ion Battery Limited Warranty. Official terms are determined solely by Pride Mobility Products. Please refer to the official Pride lithium warranty page for complete details.

Lithium-Ion Battery Limited Warranty

Pride warrants each Pride-supplied lithium-ion battery sold through an authorized Pride provider to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the warranty period listed by Pride at the time of purchase.

The warranty period is determined by:

• Customer sales receipt
• Shipping invoice
• Battery serial number
• Proof of purchase

Within the applicable warranty period, Pride may, at its option:

• Credit
• Repair
• Replace

any lithium battery determined to be defective in material or workmanship.

Important Battery Maintenance Requirements

Lithium batteries must be properly maintained to preserve warranty coverage.

Batteries must:

• Be charged regularly
• Not remain uncharged for extended periods
• Not remain unused for over one (1) year without charging

Failure to properly maintain charge may void warranty coverage.

Recommended Temperature Ranges

Operating Range:

• -4°F to 122°F
  Optimal: 59°F to 77°F

Storage Range:

• 23°F to 77°F
  Optimal: 59°F to 77°F

Charging Range:

• 32°F to 104°F
  Optimal: 68°F

Extreme heat or cold exposure can permanently damage lithium batteries and may void warranty coverage.

In climates with extreme temperatures, Pride recommends storing and charging batteries in a temperature-controlled environment.

Lithium Battery Warranty Exclusions

Pride has no obligation under the Lithium Limited Warranty for batteries subjected to:

• Improper installation
• Loose terminal connections
• Incorrect wiring or polarity
• Environmental damage
• Water damage or submersion
• Extreme heat or freezing conditions
• Collision or impact damage
• Under-charging or over-charging
• Opening, modification, or tampering
• Use outside intended design specifications
• Charging with a non-approved charger
• Storage outside Pride’s guidelines
• Capacity loss within normal cycle life expectations

Normal capacity reduction over time is not considered a defect.

Important: Labor & Service Calls

Lithium battery warranty covers the battery component only.

Labor, diagnostics, in-home service visits, transportation, and shipping are not included unless specifically authorized in advance by Pride Mobility.

Warranty service must be performed by an authorized Pride provider.

Customers are responsible for service visit fees unless otherwise approved by the manufacturer.

How Lithium Warranty Service Works with The Lift Man

If your Pride lithium-equipped scooter was purchased through The Lift Man in Indianapolis or surrounding Central Indiana areas:

• We inspect and diagnose the issue
• We verify proper maintenance history
• We submit claims to Pride when applicable
• We install approved replacement batteries if authorized

If battery failure is determined to be outside manufacturer coverage, replacement costs may apply.

Labor charges may apply unless you are enrolled in a Lift Man Labor Service Contract.
